Per un corretto “squadro” del campo è importante usare gli strumenti giusti. L’utilizzo di una cordella metrica metallica ti permette maggiore precisione rispetto ad una cordella metrica in plastica. Perché ciò? Le cordelle metriche durante le misurazioni devo essere tenute in tiro. La cordella metrica in plastica per natura tende a strecciarsi e quindi potenzialmente ti potrebbe dare una misurazione con un margine di errore. La cordella metrica in plastica è sensibile pure alle temperature.
Nota: In caso di verifica delle misure del campo, e non solo delle linee, da parte di enti omologatori/certificatori riconosciuti dall’ITF, le misurazioni vengono fatte unicamente con le cordelle metriche metalliche.
🇬🇧 On a clay tennis court, to lay the playing lines, you must first proceed with the “squaring” phase of the court. For a correct “squaring” of the court it’s important to use the right tools. Using a metal metric string allows you greater precision than a plastic metric string. Why this? The measuring strings must be kept tight during measurements. Plastic metric string by nature tends to stretch and therefore could potentially give you a measurement with a margin of error. The plastic metric string is also sensitive to temperatures.
