Può succedere se ha piovuto troppo e siamo in piena estate oppure se avete rullato il campo a secco. In questo caso si tratta della prima opzione. Il campo, dopo un nubifragio, ha incamerato tanta acqua che però è evaporata troppo velocemente a causa del caldo. La terra rossa, che ha una componente di argilla, ha subìto prima una dilatazione e successivamente una “cottura” che ne ha ridotto l’elasticità. Le crepe ne sono il risultato. In natura questo fenomeno lo possiamo vedere nelle golene dei fiumi dopo un periodo di piena. Quando ero bambino era un classico giocare su questa fanghiglia per poi ritrovare dopo 2 giorni delle vere e proprie superfici “cementificate” piene di crepe.
